Lets take it back to last nights post about the events of yesterday morning. Visualize the exact same morning wake up scenario, minus one hit of the snooze button. Also, minus the snow.  Next, visualize me leaving the house on time.
Today I got to work at 7:14am; one minute early!! (...or 6 minutes early depending on which staff member you ask.)  But, unfortunately I forgot my lunch in the fridge at home (Which, by the way, just so happens to be a blessing now that I'm eating my supper.  My supper that took a mere 3 minutes to microwave!) and still neglected to stop for a coffee on my way in to work. I didn't really have very much time to spare anyway.
Once I was on the highway it was smooth sailing all the way, with cruise control on for the remainder of the highway driving.  Now, call me crazy, but there is a traffic-light at the bottom of the exit I take to get to work that turns red every time I come near it, I swear!!! It can be red when I turn onto the ramp and it seems like it turns green and back to red before I get to go through. Or, if it's green when I start my descent down the ramp, it will always turn to red and stay red.  I can't help but wonder if I was terribly lucky with green lights in a past life so in this one they're all red, or if I'm being punished for something by God, or something! I'm just kidding really, but it seriously does seem like its always red.
This morning was no exception, the light was green. I really, really, thought I was getting the go. But, I had to stop.  I look to my right.  What do I see coming towards the intersection? Oh I'll tell you.  A small, slow-moving, yellow, tractor (complete with flashing orange lights) driving very slow toward the green light.  I hoped and prayed the light would turn red for him, so he wouldn't get in front of me.  It didn't.  He was the only other vehicle around, and he was driving 20km/h.  He went through the intersection, then once he was undeniably ahead of me in the road, my light turned green.  The first half of the drive to work from the lights was slow until I managed to ditch the slow tractor when I turned into the street leading to parking-lot of work. Yay, another 12 hour day shift!! Today was essentially the same as yesterday, except it was Monday, so there were more people around. Also, I went to a
tele-conference. It was good but the information was sort of redundant.  It was another "boring" day at work.
I left work, to have my daily argument with Kyle (that would be my fiance, and love of my life). We're over it already.  Yep, just like that.  There's nothing to getting over an argument if you love each other enough. At least, that's what I find.  So now that my day-shifts are over I don't have to wake up at 6:00 am until next Wednesday. To me, that right there is a small little piece of heaven.
Now it's time to relax, so I'm going to watch TV with Kyle.  I'll try to convince him to watch a movie.  He'll probably say "there's no movies on" and want to watch something about MMA or fishing enormous fish called "
sturgeons". I'll beg him to check anyway, and he will.  New movies come out on Tuesdays. Whether or not we find a movie remains to be seen. It may not be the most exciting pass-time, but it is pretty much my favorite thing to do. <3
